Make the most of your time on the water with Miller’s Bass Outfitters, fishing alongside Captain David Miller—a dedicated New Braunfels bass fishing guide with over 20 years of experience on local waters. Trips are centered around the New Braunfels chain of lakes, including Canyon Lake, Lake Dunlap, Lake McQueeney, and Lake Placid, giving you access to some of the most productive bass fisheries in Central Texas. These lakes offer consistent opportunities to target Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Spotted Bass throughout much of the year. From Canyon Lake’s deep, clear structure to the river-style fisheries of Dunlap, McQueeney, and Placid, each trip is tailored to conditions and your skill level. Whether you're learning the basics or dialing in artificial bait techniques, you’ll get a hands-on, results-driven experience. Your trip takes place aboard a 19’ Skeeter TZX 190 powered by a Yamaha 150HP engine. Designed for performance and efficiency, this setup allows quick access to productive water across multiple lakes. With space for up to 2 anglers, every trip stays focused, personal, and fully guided from start to finish. All rods, reels, and lures are provided, along with a cooler stocked with ice and drinks. The boat is equipped with a live well and everything needed for a smooth day on the water. Just bring a valid Texas fishing license and sun protection like a hat, sunglasses, and non-spray sunscreen. Alcohol is allowed in moderation—no glass or hard liquor. Captain David takes a straightforward, customer-first approach—treat every guest right and make every trip count. Whether you're fishing Canyon Lake or exploring the New Braunfels chain, the goal is simple: put you on fish and make it a great day on the water. Peak season runs from February through July when bass activity is at its best across the entire chain.
